El Rubius is a content creator and streamer who began his public activity in 2011 with the “elrubiusOMG” channel, posting humorous montages of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and gameplays that defined his mix of comedy and first-person commentary. He became widely known in Spanish-speaking audiences for popularizing formats like “Games in 1 Minute” and for viral parodies; in 2012 he released “Minero,” a humorous take on Chayanne’s “Torero” adapted to the Minecraft world. Active on YouTube and Twitch in 2025, he continues to anchor large audiences around his series and live shows.

Between 2012 and 2013 his growth accelerated, and in 2018 he organized the YTBattle Royale tournament with one hundred creators, setting a YouTube gaming livestream record at the time.
