She began her professional acting activity in 2009, after becoming interested in acting when she auditioned as an extra for an independent film being shot near her area. From a young age, she presented her parents with a five-year business plan to show that she wanted to pursue acting seriously, and later began booking commercial work and auditions in Seattle, Portland, and Los Angeles.
