Paula Echevarría

Spanish actress, model, television presenter and influencer known for her work in El comisario, Gran Reserva and, most notably, Velvet, in which she played Ana Rivera. After a period focused on motherhood and television entertainment, she returned to scripted drama with Camino a Arcadia, released in 2025, and A la deriva, an Antena 3 series scheduled for September 2026. She also continued serving as a judge on Got Talent España.

In the late 1990s, she spent a year living in London, an experience that encouraged her to pursue acting professionally. She returned to Spain in 2000, trained at several acting schools and began appearing in Al salir de clase, Policías and Compañeros, while also working as a reporter on Emisión Imposible. In 2002, she toured Spain in a stage production of Diez negritos and made her film debut in Peor imposible, ¿qué puede fallar?.

The international success of Velvet established her as one of the most recognizable Spanish television actresses. She also developed a significant career in fashion, advertising and digital content. In 2022, she began collaborating with Primark on several clothing collections and later became one of the company's womenswear ambassadors.

She is the mother of Daniella, born in 2008 during her marriage to David Bustamante, and Miguel, known within the family as Miki, born in 2021 during her relationship with Miguel Torres. She has explained that she organizes much of her professional schedule around her children and remains close to her parents, brother and longtime friends in Candás.

She married David Bustamante in 2006 at the Basilica of Santa María la Real de Covadonga. They separated in 2017 and finalized their divorce by mutual agreement in March 2018. That same year, she publicly began a relationship with former footballer Miguel Torres, with whom she formed a family, although both have stated that they do not plan to marry.

On Velvet, she starred alongside Miguel Ángel Silvestre, Marta Hazas and José Sacristán, while Gran Reserva brought her together with Ángela Molina and Emilio Gutiérrez Caba. She later worked with William Levy on Camino a Arcadia and Daniel Grao and Michel Noher on A la deriva. As a Got Talent España judge, she has appeared alongside Risto Mejide, Edurne and other Spanish television personalities.
