Eladio Carrión is an American rapper, singer and songwriter from a Puerto Rican family who has become one of the leading figures in Spanish-language trap. He established his career with projects such as Sauce Boyz, Monarca and 3MEN2 KBRN, and earned his first Latin Grammy in 2023 for «Coco Chanel», his collaboration with Bad Bunny that won best rap/hip-hop song. In 2026, he released CORSA, a 15-track album combining trap, reggaeton and more introspective passages while maintaining his commitment to rap.
He was born in Kansas City, Kansas, and spent part of his childhood in different areas of the United States because of his father's military career. At the age of 11, his family settled in Humacao, Puerto Rico. Before pursuing music, he was a competitive swimmer who represented Puerto Rico at the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games and the 2011 Pan American Games, competing in breaststroke and individual medley events.
After leaving competitive swimming, he gained an audience on Vine and Instagram through comedy videos and impersonations of urban artists. That period led him to work as a songwriter before developing his own recording career during the second half of the 2010s.
