Sebastián Yatra, the stage name of Sebastián Obando Giraldo, is a Colombian singer and songwriter whose career has developed between pop ballads, Latin pop and crossover urban sounds. The beginning of his public activity as a recording artist can be placed in 2013, the year he released his single “El Psicólogo,” which helped introduce him in several Latin American markets. From that point onward, he built a musical identity strongly linked to romantic songwriting, a style that set him apart in a Latin scene increasingly dominated by urban rhythms and allowed him to grow from Colombia and Miami into the broader international market.
