Sara Duque

Sara Duque is a Portuguese sports lawyer whose public profile in football stands out for combining legal training, professional translation, and language coaching tailored to high-performance environments. Her public-facing professional track can be placed around 2015, when she began working as a freelance legal and non-legal translator/interpreter, handling contracts, court-related documents, immigration records, and medical materials. During that period, she also built an international legal background, including bilingual European legal studies in French and English and a traineeship at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg focused on drafting reports and legal opinions on data protection and cybercrime, alongside a secondment as a legal advisor at BMW Portugal working on privacy and data-processing agreements.

Her football-specific path took shape in 2019–2020 as a Football Language Coach at FC Porto, supporting foreign players in day-to-day communication with coaching staff, medical staff, teammates, media, and fans.
