Karen Paola

Karen Paola, also known by her real name Karen Bejarano, is a Chilean singer, actress, and television personality whose career blends pop music, entertainment television, and on-screen work. She began her public activity in 2003 when she joined the youth TV program “Mekano,” where she adopted her stage name and quickly became one of the show’s most recognizable faces, setting the foundation for a recording career and long-term media visibility.

She became widely known through her “Mekano” era and the success of her early releases, especially the album “Viva la noche” (2004), which helped establish her as a pop figure in Chile during the mid-2000s. She followed with albums such as “Komo tú” (2005) and “Karen Paola” (2008), and later broadened her profile with acting work in youth productions as well as roles as a panelist and host on television, including multi-year participation in morning show formats.

After periods of more sporadic musical activity, she returned to new releases in 2025 with the EP “Emancipación,” signaling a renewed artistic phase.
