Dani Castro

Dani Castro is a Chilean cook and digital creator who began her public activity in 2014 as a contestant on MasterChef Chile; she became known after winning the inaugural season, which concluded in February 2015. Since then, she has combined TV and social media with a self-taught tone and a close rapport with her “guapirulis” community, sharing easy recipes, lifestyle and home-decor content. Her main platforms are Instagram (@ladanicastror) and TikTok (@ladanicastroo), where she has built a loyal audience through short formats, practical tips and step-by-step cooking videos.

After MasterChef, she consolidated her profile with concise cookbooks —including “500 Recetas y Tips en 500 Caracteres,” later expanded to a 550-recipe edition— and joined other food-reality shows. In 2022 she competed in “El discípulo del Chef,” and in 2023 joined “Tierra Brava,” broadening her exposure beyond strictly culinary spaces. By mid-2025 she had around 1 million followers on Instagram and over 200 thousand on TikTok. On television she has clear links with chef Ennio Carota and with Ignacio Román, MasterChef finalist, through on-air appearances and public interactions.

She also developed her AYNI brand with bundles and editions of her books, keeping a recognizable visual style and a narrative centered on everyday ingredients and achievable home results.
